I made this painting in the first day of workshop that I gave in Rome last March.
It was really quick, it took me only 20 minutes. While I was painting I explained what I already said during the past hours of workshop.. so, from theory to practice! it was funny

I'm very envious that you were able to do this in only 20 minutes! It shows just how much skill with watercolour you have. The fact that you can use just a touch of colour/value to suggest detail is remarkable, as is the colour choices that always make your art so alive and vibrant. Given this was done so quickly it might explain that there are a couple of things that are perhaps not quite right - for instance, the ear looks a little too small and the iris a little too big, but these are pretty minor for an overall inspiring piece.

Wow, this piece is visually stunning. The detailed work, the colors, the flawless proportion, all of it has a very strong impact on the eye. I adore the perfection you put into the features, while still maintaining an element of surrealism. The color and originality in the hair is an excellent example of this. I especially am drawn to the eyes, the color and steeled expression you put into them is fantastic. All in all, this is an absolutely gorgeous piece, and the fact that you whipped it out in 20 minutes makes it even more impressive. Really excellent work!

What I like most about this has to be the crease in the paper. Gives it a little bit more realism.
