wake up from what? .. if your comparing the united states as a whole or maybe just the current administration to nazi germany, then i would suggest waking up yourself and reading a history book or a news paper because either you dont know your history or your current evets!

i don't compare usa to the nazist germany, but to the lies that politicians throw in your minds, mixed with patriotism and pride and shit.
America is like a great theatre, evryone can see the good things that happen on the set, but what happens behind the curtains you just can't see it (or don't want to) and continue on believing that it's all right, what you see is all true. What i'm trying to say is just not to remain on you armchair watching the show, but just take a look behind the scenes and just figure out what's the real truth, and after that you sure will change your mind.
Once upon a time you had to check all libraries and documentations.
Today you just need a quick search on google.
And i'm not saying that all americans are brainwashed. The biggest part deeply knows that we know a fuck about what really happens behind the scenes. Just see Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind, where the governement has to cover an UFO landing on a mountain and decides to evacuate the place in a ray of tot. kilometers. ok now what do they have done? They lied. They said that there was a radioactive escape or something, and people left.
ok now it's just a movie, but don't you think that things like this are made every day? do you have a minimal idea of how many things we don't know and that are kept secret by the government and covered with huge lies? and what im' sayin are not lies, just facts you just can find on that hell of a google.

as of right now (and i can say this because i live here and know for curtain that its true) there is nothing on tv or radio that doesn't question the motivations of our government. every channel you turn to they critique and question the actions of Bush. the current overall approval rating is around 30%. so to say that we need to "wake up people", i have to say that the majority of american are!
i have a serious question though, does it take 25 years for movies made here in america to get to Italy? who gives a rats ass about close encounters? speilbergs vision of a peaceful e.t. encounter has nothing to do with current or past american foreign policy so i have no clue why you would bring it up.
and just so you know, our state is not based on lies, its based on a thing called the constitution which opens with something call the bill of rights. they are the stated rights of the people which can not be infringed by the government. and the last time i checked nowhere in the bill of right is there a thing call full discloser of the government, so if the government wants to keep a few thing secret thats fine by me, and if your stupid enough to believe that america is the only government to do that well then i'm arguing with a brick wall.
