First day with 3D Studio.My first 3DStudio render is a display in caustics; the tangent of light and refractive matter.

That is awsome! It reminds me of when I saw some glass vases on the window-sill with the light shining through them making patterns of colour - I took some photos and made some fairly abstract images.
THe darkness serves to highlight the patterns of refraction? Dont know the technical term..... anyway, it works well because its a contrast. The fact that it has some small hints of blue and not purely black and white gives it more life, I feel.
