3D-Sculpting Daily Challenge 2023, Day 1, a.k.a. "we're back, babey!".This is my 3D-sculpture of Man-At-Arms from "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe".
I'm not super happy with this, lol. I'm rusty, it was tricky to get back in the saddle after a long time of inactivity. This challenge can be so time consuming and exhausting, but it's also a thing that's completely my own. It gives me a sense of agency and it can be very rewarding. I don't often get to start and actually finish something, lol. So committing to this is a good thing. I also have some sort of unfinished business with Man-At-Arms. The action figure was in high demand back in the day, and I could never get it. The one we found was missing one of the arm armor thingy, and I noticed and said it out loud to my mom (I was practically a toddler), then the guy from the store simply refused to sell it to us :\ I never again had the chance to get it.
As always, I made it with Zbrush 🡪 Keyshot 🡪 Photoshop.
