looks very beautiful.
I have been experimenting with fractals, but I have a hard time with them in Ultra fractal.

Thank you. With UF, the key is layering properly. If you have any photoshop experience, a lot of that transfers into UF in much the same way. Check out *Ultra-Fractal also if you haven't yet. They have some good tutorials available that will help.

I've never used one but most people say Mac's are the best for graphics. I'm a Dell person myself. I've owned three of them and never had problems with the hardware. I know that when I get ready to buy, I spend close to a month doing a lot of internet searching to find the best deals and usually it's Dell with the best prices. I know someone that owns Sony and swears by them, but the price is kinda high. Regardless, the prices of Ram have really dropped. I have a gig and it's dropped even more since I bought this three years ago.

That's a fabulous image but no, I didn't work with that in mind. The lighting in this was kinda modeled after a lot of what's being created by some of the fractal artists here. I try to be unique but when the image didn't have the lighting in it, the whole thing was really plain and boring. Before I found the last few layers the image was very soft and nebulous which fit the lighting. I deleted the lighting after I found the sharper edges and realized it needed the lighting so I put it back.
Ultra Fractal gives you the ability to stretch each layer which I did to a little amount. I couldn't get the image to fit the print ratio without overstretching it so I rendered it thin and added the frame afterwards. Looking back on it, I like the way it looks to help focus the attention vertically. I might try that technique some more in the future because it has such a cool look to it.

Thank you. UF confused me for about a year then one day it started clicking. Now I'm learning little things that make big differences, as well as slowing down and putting a lot more time into each UF image I make.

You're welcome. Yeh, I suppose it just takes time and effort, that's why I admire work done on it, I lack the patience to even attempt it myself!

This makes me think of a long string of galaxies, large and small. The red background is a brilliant choice, it accentuates its beautifully flowing shapes and at the same time the lights as well. It feels like I'm looking at an infinite number of worlds with an infinite number of possibilities. Great stuff!
