I totally thought the title was a reference to The Secret Garden. Great shots!

The garden is open to the public and the recent award toa 'green flag' followed by the re-opening of the coach house tea & ice cream kiosk as a fully functioning restaurant with its own outdoor eating area has made it almost unbearably popular on hot sunny days. Naturally, we wish it was still one of our town's best kept secrets, like Heathfield on the other side of the hill.

It was freezing already and you've made it look even colder. I'm always pleased to see my stock used; thank you for showing me.

Our gardener friend said that they go nuts for dried meal worms. These are made available as pet food in some stores. Apparently hamsters love them too.

Oh, there is; assuredly. There are whole websites dedicated to hamster owners and their pets. Elder Miss a has contributed hundreds of pictures to these. We even have a few in our gallery.
