My new work... I don't know what's worse if the torment of the body or the spirit, or maybe they can't be separated.

A good question. The body in torment is pain
The soul in torment I think is more than just pain
It is more than just physical, it is much deeper and does more damage
The worst that can happen with a body in torment is your death? Is that the worst?
The damage to your soul will last forever unless you believe your soul dies when your body dies.
I hope I never have to find out.

What I also don't want to believe or experience, as you say at the end of your comment, is that after dying, after the soul supposedly separates from this enslaving body, our spirit could to continue captive and suffering.

Quería darle mucha fuerza a esta obra... y la fuerza, o el poder, como tú bien dices, está en el rojo. Por eso también elegí una canción potente.

La increíble fuerza de la imagen transmite perfectamente la situación!!! Los colores de que se compone tu obra acentuan aún más la sensación de dolor y angustia!!!
Le tenemos generalmente mucho miedo al sufrimiento del cuerpo, sé perfectamente que muchisimas veces no podemos soportarlo, pero creo que no hay nada más doloroso y obsesivo que el sufrimiento de la mente que hace que lleguemos a extremos muchas veces insoportables.
Me parece una imagen absolutamente genial, cariño!!!
