Description Page one of six or so. Really not sure where this story is going, folks, but wotthehell -- onwards!

Page 2

**Update**: Not sure about the watercolour wash. Colour and tone tend to be where my work falls apart a bit. Any helpful advice you folks can give would be BEAUT. Also, the background should be black, but I tried to colour it in MS Paint and failed spectacularly.

there's something fantastically alice in wonderland-ish about the imperfect perspective.

How can i help? Eh... I see that the practice make the master, so don´t give it up about the watercolor. Keep trying. I´m sure there are tons of tutorials about this technique here in Deviantart. If you have an specific question about the technique I can recommend the book "The watercolorist´s essential notebook" by Gordon Mackenzie.

Then... maybe you already know this, but in order to make that sense of depthness you should paint the differents plains in differents tones... I mean from the lighter tone in the background to the strong tone in the first plain. Like in this photos:

Do you see how the colors and tones disappear on the bottom/end of the photographs? Is the same in (color or b/w) painting.

Or if you wanted to make a sense of a low iluminated place you could painted all the panel like it was a practice of chiaroscuro, I mean to wet all the panel and then (with the paintbrush loaded with a several amount of paint) start from the darkest corner/side to the lightest one. Adding water or with lower paint to do the degradation of the chiaroscuro. This technique is called "wet to wet" (the paintbrush is wet and the papers is wet too).

And finally (and i also think you know this too): the red colors are stronger lights than the blues and greens. So, in the photos the red things tends to look with the strongest/darkest tones giving the lighters ones to the green´s and blue´s colors. It would be cool to think in that when you are painting too.

I hope this will help you. And sorry for the lake of good grammatical english, i should check the rules again.

Hey, many thanks for all the advice! Some very useful stuff there -- it's very kind of you to take the time to help me out!

... And don't worry, your English is pretty darn good -- far, FAR better than my Spanish, anyhow

i love your comics!
i also like your perpectives
but if you want to improve, the only suggestion i have is that you try reading the book "perspective! for comic artists" it's good written and explains a lot of things

I reeaallly really really lie your comics so far.

I wouldn't worry about the perspective. I have the same issue as you, but your lines look so confident and the style is so strong I think exact perspective would destroy some of the character. What you have here looks confident, and as long as it looks confident, I don't think anyone will complain.
