Past/Bio: Yuu was left alone when she was younger. Her mom died during childbirth and her dad was a fugitive so he left her because he was on the run. She was found and raised by an elderly couple that lived on the outskirts of her home village. She lived with them until she was 8 and they died of old age. She became a thief, stealing out of people’s gardens and sometimes when she was desperate she would break into houses to find food and water. She lived on her own until she was 14. That’s when she met Ran. She had been stealing again and took from Ran and her partner’s things. Ran caught her when she saw they were missing items. Upon seeing Yuu in her tattered state, only wearing rags and very thin from non regular meals, she decided the young girl needed the food more than she did so she decided to let her go. After that Yuu began to follow Ran and her partners because was the first person to catch and let her go so she was curious. Ran was well aware of the tail but decided against bringing it up to her partners because she felt it held no importance.

However Ran and the rest of the Akatsuki have many enemies and many well use any means necessary to take them down. One such enemy saw that Yuu was following the group and decided to use her against them since they thought they knew about her. Kidnapping Yuu and holding her hostage the enemy made it known to the Atasuki group that they would kill the girl if they did not surrender. Itachi and Kisame were the other in the group and had no qualms with Yuu dying, but Ran decided to save her, telling the others they can go on ahead while she took care of the threat. Later on she met up with Itachi and Kisame with an unconscious Yuu in her arms. Itachi did not like the idea of bringing a defenseless girl along and Kisame just didn’t like her but Ran insisted on bringing her back. Ran brought her back and patched her up. Yuu was so shocked and grateful at the kindness Ran had showed her she decided to stay with her and never leave her side.
About Him/Her
Personality: Yuu is a very cunning, and mischievous young girl who is very good at stealing and getting what she wants. She is very sweet and caring and doesn’t really like the idea of people suffering or going through the same thing she has gone through. Because of this she gets into confrontations with Kisame and other more extentrict Akatsuki members, but Ran always protects her. She is extremely devoted to the point where she will endure watching someone be killed or tortured just so she can stay by Ran’s side. She will fight anyone threatening her family (The Akatsuki) and becomes very cold and distant becoming completely remorseless as a way of detaching herself from pain she is causing. She is easily scared and has a very hard time with Ran fighting and getting hurt because it scares her beyond belief. She rarely cries though, claiming she lost the ability to do so long ago because of her need to grow up and fend for herself so early on in her life.
