@Adobewan
I think your take on DC mythology is very promising.
The art reinforces the narrative -- a rich narrative that explains some of the retcons over the ages.
I think your distinctive paneling and unique perspectives (in terms of sequential art)
help kick the narrative along (should it drag at all).
I hope that this concept was taken on board,
and I'd like to see your take on "the worlds finest"

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback Jorus, I'm very appreciative.
It's unlikely they'll be using the story under this current administration running the Superman books. I'll re-pitch when they've changed over again.
Thanks again,
Brian

They look to be kids playing superhero, lmao.
Superman is in the heroic puffed chest pose.
Batman is one of those kids who ran around holding a blanket in his hands pretending to fly.
And Wonder Woman is doing tricks with her ribbon.

Thanks Justin, and I apologize for the delayed response. I have a chunk of the pitch done but it's very dark, some monitor setting problems, and have been meaning to lighten up the pages and make them available to view.
I'll try to get through them over the holidays, but do me a favor and don't let me forget.

Love your work Brian, I am drawn to the angle your story - pitch to DC is taking , as I am a big fan of the Multiverse ( I downloaded your PDF )
Currently writing a Superman centered fanfic where the concept is basically the immortal heroes journey in a mortal world.
I really like the way you made planet pushing Superman real. That's a good thing.
Reminds me of this Neil Gaiman quote ( speaking about the Sandman ) "And I wanted someone who is absolutely and utterly powerful. It's interesting because at the time, John Byrne had just taken over Superman and had announced that he was making Superman less powerful because he had become too powerful and you couldn't write interesting stories about people that were too powerful. That started me thinking, "Well, no, actually you can, because what makes a person interesting or not interesting isn't how powerful they are, but who they are."" - [link]
My story is here - [link]

Sorry it took so long to respond, I lost track of looking at the gallery for comments.
Thanks very much for your comments. I started your story and am already intrigued with the use of a Dyson Sphere within the history of Krypton, I was a BIG TNG fan and found th ewhole idea of the Dyson Sphere compelling. I just always had a problem with the scale of such a construct.
Anxious to see where you take it.
Stay in touch!

Brian

Again, thank you for the welcome, and your gracious comments. I'm quite moved by all you guys. Your reaching out is really appreciated!
I love your "Shell of choice"! I rolled! I still don't know what a shell is in that context.
Re: your signature line: I haven't read League of One. Is that the one where Diana is the only member of the League? I imagine you recommend it. There is nothing like a well written League story. These characters, especially Sup, Bat, and WW are like mythology. They're not to be just pitted against the common thug. There should be some revelation or depth when you're dealing with these characters.
Love Devil May Cry 1 and 2 as well, although it 's not on my fav list. I really did get into those! Loved the first Assassin's Creed as well as the Price of Persia's before it. My son is in the middle of AC 2.
Stay in touch,
Brian
BTW I'm sorry to say I was informed that Dick Giordano passed away this morning. I dealt with him a number of times when I worked on Young All-Stars and on top of him being a truly great comic book artist, he was really good at the managerial side of the business. I hope he had a full life and passed peacefully.

JLA A League of One by Chris Moeller. I recommend highly.
Moeller paints his images, but hey you might know that...lol. Anyway you know how sometimes it's difficult to get Diana's portrayal all right? To me in that one story he does. She is awesome. Sorry to hear about Dick Giordano.

Wow! Your artwork is truly fantastic, and I really wish you the best of luck. If you don't mind, I'll also check out your pitch. My good friend, Furbelows, and I also share the same interests and thoughts about SM/WW. Welcome to DA, btw. Glad to have you here!

Well I''m right there with you guys. Furbelows was one, if not my first deviant contact! I love the Big three at DC. Always thought Superman would wind up with Diana, especially after their mortal friends began to pass. As much as I'm not really in to Lois as a character (I'd rather see him with a girl who's not that physically attractive, but has a beautiful depth of soul), I'll give him the relationship with Lois for her time on Earth, but during that time, as portrayed in the Justice League cartoon, I'd like to see Diana with Bruce.
Thank you for the welcoming words re:dev. I'm such a newbie, I only just recently figured out how to set my deviantID properly. What's a deviant journal? Anyway, I'm sure I'll pick it all up in due time.

Brian

So cool of you to comment, I'm brand new to deviantArt.
Love your signature line, one for my favorite quotes from Kingdom Come, an all time favorite book of mine. We share a love for the DC pantheon. They've been close to my heart since I was young. You might enjoy my complete Immortality Crisis pitch. You can download it @

There's a bit more hinted at between Clark and Diana and a scene I'm most proud of between Pa Kent and Bruce Wayne. Not the prettiest drawings in the pitch but definitely the type of character development I'm most interested in.
Again thanks, for your support and stay in touch,
Brian

Thanks, I'll stay in touch and if I ever produce one, I'd be happy to get involved. I've always saw the two of them together, forget Lois, she was too high maintenance. Diana's the only one physically compatible with him anyway.
FAN-boy alert!
