Ok now, this is most certainly a very odd one out - & it doesn't go with anything I've done so far, mainly because of someone else being in the picture, so I titled it as completely separate digi painting piece.

The headshot was referenced from where Loki lies defeated, bruised & battered after the Hulk 'unfriended' him as some put it. Many have painted it & I never intended to do so myself - not only for that but the tragic feel of that scene. But then I found this image of a b/w model shot, & thought I could use that as reference instead for it, with Loki resting his heavy head on that someone's shoulders, giving him comfort & closeness. A literal shoulder to cry on.

Yes, the hair was there, & the other guy is missing, so it can be anyone. It's as is. This was in fact almost perishing on my computer months back, for the fine hair I got tired of painting in after the facial marks already. But I finally got round finishing it, & what was once a colourised study, evolved into a multi-coloured image, red, green & skin tones - after I found it rather bland & quite a few 'purple studies' already.

First I wanted to title it Solace, but then I added tears very late, to give the scene an even more 'evocative' feel, & Tears was born. Guess Loki never had that drink with Tony, though he probably did. Or maybe that is Tony. Or Thor. Yeah, if anyone then Thor.
