Emma tightened the man’s cuffs and then looked up at him.
“Well?” she asked.
Her prisoner looked at the young policewoman slightly askance. “Well what, ma’am?” he replied, looking bemused.
Emma glared at him. “What were you doing taking this lady hostage?” she demanded impatiently. The man simply gazed at the woman happily still taking pictures of his humiliation.
“Will you put that phone down please, madam?” Emma insisted turning her ire onto the former hostage.
The woman grinned at her. “You won’t get no sense out of him, love,” she laughed, “my husband’s always been a bit simple.”
“Your husband??” fumed Emma. “You mean this is a DOMESTIC?”
The woman looked a little embarrassed. “Well he’s never pointed a gun at me before, love….”
Emma just glared at her. “I’m late!” she fumed glancing at her watch. “It will take me an hour to process your idiot of a husband! My date will think I stood him up!”
The woman nodded. “Looks like you won’t get laid tonight, love.” she remarked.
“Shut UP!” the infuriated policewoman yelled. “Or I’ll arrest you too!”
