The French Bibliotheque des Arts Decoratifs has this fantastic site featuring the Collection Maciet. If you can navigate in French, you can search through the collection for digitized images. It has more than fifty old fashion plates for almost every year from the late 1700s through the 1930s. I go and lose myself among them for hours on end...and then pick up ideas for what to draw.
