An illustration I did for Stardrift Empires, an mmo on Facebook, syfygames, and stardriftempires.com. I've been working on this project for the past few months at Blue Frog Gaming, which has been awesomely fun and challenging.

This is an illustration of an alien race called the Urcath, which are ruthless yet sophisticated. this was a race i really enjoyed designing, which combined traits of crustaceans and insects with an upright humanoid torso. they're a large, chaotic race but have high-tech weaponry and armor. this one's a heavy gunner, with shoulder cannons.
