Description
Lotara Sarrin, Captain of the Conqueror, the flagship of the Worldeaters Chaos Space Marines.My second take on this character, this time without Kharn ( he's probably about to offload his Butcher Horde from the Conqueror ). I have this fan idea that Lotara has effectively 'become' the Conqueror, fused into the vessel and acting as the military mind of any Khornate force that board her.
Visually i've played up her Khornate leanings ( although she could be more chaos undivided ), being drenched in red with her 8 point crown harking to Khornes favoured number as well as the cybernetic Butchers Nails that the World Eaters had implanted into their skulls, with the added addition of it also being a mockery of the 'Iron Halo' of the loyalists. Her dress/cape is meant to be made up of wires, bonding her to her ship.

I didn't know that, that's... rather disappointing. I presume she either killed herself from guilt or in a deranged chaos induced fit of 'letting the blood flow' ?.Β
Still it would be easy enough to bring a version like this into being, the Conqueror is still meant to be kicking around the 40k Universe and it would be more interesting to have her running it than some random Chaos marine lord or Demon.

I had forgotten those ships would still have Navigators on them.Β I'll have to get around to reading the story myself, but it's nice to know Lotara's final fate is still open.

sorry mane! she did (IIRC) because...well...Angron's daemon presence needed blood to stay in real space, and offed herself because she was afraid of being next, i need to re-read that before i can c=say with certainty.Β

I wasn't familiar with that character and I had to do some searching ( I thought it was a Warhammer character I wasn't aware of

Well, scale is relative as 40k can have very big ships. However the degree of using the neural connection is far more abused. Basically whole fleet data goes through Karan, not just ship. That's what I like about 40k, Imperium never realized how overpowered something like Black Carapace would be if used properly, why they should seek to install it on every soldier and worker in the galaxy, not just Space Marine and how it'll fix most of their trouble by proxy. And thus Chaos forces never understood it either
