I actually really don't like this, and I feel like it needs more detail on the buildings closest to us... Not to mention the composition is whack irrepairable at this point. I should probably work on it a lot more... but I wanted to practice structuring cityscapes again since I've been doing so much landscape recently...I THINK I WILL JUST START OVER. LOL

I see your point, but it's still a very striking speedpaint. It's got a ton of atmosphere and it looks very crisp.

I really love this! The background looks amazing and I love the look of the lights. Yeahh, I suppose as it's closer it should be more detailed, but something about it being more simple closer up and more detailed going back looks really interesting. I actually like the composition. If gives an empty feeling, but it's a good sort of empty feeling, like it's about to be filled by something! *3*

At first glance, I was like, "oh, this is pretty nifty!" But then I looked at the distribution of detail and the overall composition.

The neon effects and the water are really well done for the amount of time you spent on this.
