I love your lines. It reminds me of some of my favorite comic works that are much lighter, but the black and white makes a fantastic contrast and conveys darkness so well.

I feel like I've forgotten what can be achieved in pencil art...aside from the attention to muscle structure and the folds in his robes, the "burst" surrounding him is very effectively rendered, and contrasts well with the dark tones.

Ha ha. So this is Sandman when he gets pissed off eh? I always considered Morpheus a little too angsty for such displays of power.
Great job on the pencil work, I especially like the lighting on the top of his head, and those screaming faces in the background. Great positioning of his hands too. They're really expressive. You could build up a whole story based on the position of those hands. (They look a little distraught, and angry at the same time).
