There wasn't much for her to do after the squad zero dude showed up and took the people she was healing away from her and made her feel useless and shunsui was like i have one more job for you and she accepted the job and that job was to train kenpachi until he was OP beyond belief and she did just that. Thanks to her he was able to unlock his shikai which made him OP.

Even if it was to train Kenpachi into unlocking his shikai, I still donβt think there was no need for Kubo to kill Unohana off. Thatβs just my opinion and how I feel. And I think she still wouldβve given a fighting role, like taking on Yhwach for one. That wouldβve been a interesting fight and who knows, it may eventually happen in the anime when Bleach returns next year. Cause things would turn different in the anime than in the manga. Personally, I donβt want Unohana to get killed off even though she did die in the manga

Lol I know! I still love her to death, and I hope Kubo's giving us a red herring and that both will come out alive and well in the end. The Gotei 13 doesn't need to lose either of them (and neither do we)!
And my heart breaks for Isane. That poor girl has been through so much emotional grief recently. She needs some peace and comfort.

I am definitely right there with you! I've loved being able to see Unohana fight. But no it's time for her and Zaraki to finish their training (with both of them alive) and fighting the enemy when they return! Zaraki needs to discover his zanpakuto's name, and we need to see Unohana's true shikai and her bankai (without it being stolen by the Quincy douchebags)!

Yeah I hope after their training, they both come out alive, cos I want to see Unohana's bankai, I'm also hoping that it is too powerful to be stolen since she is one of the founding members and is considered the strongest of the Gotei 13 at that time
What would be interesting, that maybe just maybe Zaraki is in a constant release of bankai without knowing its name, but I hope he learns it soon (Λβ Λ)

They are definitely gonna get raped if Zaraki and Unohana show up alive and well. And we know that Zaraki is in a constant-release shikai like Ichigo. It would have been cool had Unohana brought with her the contraption that Urahara invented, the one that materializes the Zanapakuto Spirit (the way he learned his bankai, and Ichigo after him). That would have been AWESOME!!!
And yeah, Unohana's bankai is probably on an equivalent power-level as Yama-jii's! And seeing as no one but Juha Bach himself was powerful enough to control his (and, thus, steal it), it might be the same deal with hers... and I don't believe they can steal more than one at a time.

that would have been really awesome if Unohana brought that, but he'd probably have to learn the name of his zanpakutoΜ first before using it (Λβ Λ)
Yeah I'm thinking that her bankai is possibly either equal or a little bit weaker than Yama-jii's, since his Bankai is a beast of pure destructive power. I think Juha Bach will not be able to control Yama-jii's bankai to it's fullest tho, since the Sternritter that stole ChoΜjiroΜ's bankai couldn't utilize its full power.
Yeah I also think that they can only seal/steal one bankai at a time, but Kubo could do a 360Β°

I had briefly forgotten that about ChoΜjiroΜ and the Sternritter that stole his. And if his bankai was that powerful even when weakened, you know Unohana's is frighteningly powerful!
