I really hope it doesn't end without us getting a definite answer on what exactly happened to him. I'm not optimistic about his survival but I would be happy if he somehow makes it, either way I want to know the circumstances that kept him from returning to the wall.

I'd sort of like Benjen to return.But I feel like either we'll never know what happened to him (like Stonesnake,Gerion Lannister and the Lannister that disappeared during the riot(can't remember his name) or he'll appear during a battle against Jon Snow at the Wall as a wight.

I think the one Lannister who disappeared during the riot may have a role to play, and I'm pretty sure Stonesnake will reappear, most likely as a wight.

It would be ineresting to know ,if he is alive, were hes been and what hes been doing. But knowing the gloomy aspect of the story it will probably be revealed he died a most pointless and horible death.
