Ooo Eevee is so cute. They're cuter than babies, they're kittens. Kittens always get to me. That tiny and they're already little cats, you can see their distinctive feline features and even though they can't retract them yet, they have claws. Beautiful little cat. Someone's going to be very lucky to get her!
I guess you liked V for Vendetta?

Oh, that is so neat! I didn't realize they could retract them. It makes sense, the structures are there in the toes, but they had so little fur on their feet it would look more like the claws just stuck out. Good for you!
V for Vendetta is a movie based on a comic book -- in a dark version of Britain that mislaid its royalty and turned into a dystopia, a masked hero called only V stands against its brutality by fencing and throwing knives. Beautiful movie. The heroine's name is Evie or Eevee, pronounced like that. Evie is one of the more interesting heroines in film, I really liked her.
I didn't know Pokemon well enough to know the character, but Eevee is cute and Pokemons are usually cute so that makes sense.

Ahhh. I didn't see that. Hehehe, your kitten is so cute she should have her own fan club!

Ari has a lot of fans online too, and this December I'm going to do a journal feature of all the portraits of Ari that different Deviant friends have done. I met someone who wants to do a birthday drawing for me and mentioned Ari, so she'll probably do Ari and get featured in it too -- waiting till after my birthday and anniversary at dA to do it because of that.

She is so adorable! Maybe I'll draw her sometime. I know I want to do a couple of tiny baby kitten pieces in graphite or watercolor, very young cats, and since you offer permission -- then I should do her and post her! This is such a charming pose and brings back many happy memories of holding Hecky's kittens when they were that tiny -- when the mother loves you, it's so cool to be able to play with the new-new kittens. That cat wouldn't litter without my being in attendance. I saved her and the kitten on her first kitten ever, and so she believed I had to be there doing my Lamaze tummy petting during all birthings. She'd come and yell for me when it was time and watch as I made her bed and inspect it and then demand attention, but she also let me play with the kittens from the first and she used me as a kitten-sitter, adopted me right into the family. I used to joke that she thought I was the father, for how much she trusted me with those kittens.
She knew her toms had nothing to do with it, I was the one fussing over her and giving her goodies and attention and waiting on her while she was pregnant. I put those kittens into her, so I should do kitten support.
You'll get a lot of takers if you do a feature like that!

It's added!
Ronja was that way with me too!
When she was in labor, she jumped up on my lap, purred more than ever and showed more affection then I've ever seen!
I noticed the tiny tail stick out, so i put her in the pre made bed, but she jumped back out and gave birth to Eevee on my lap!
I held eevee when she was still attached to Ronja, as she was moving around. I held her while she gave birth to the second kitten.
Then I was able to lure her to the bed, where she gave birth to the three others (in two different ones thou..I had made several )
She called for me whenever I left her side (I was typing with my big sis, telling her when each new kitten had arrived)
Some of the kittens showed me so much affection, always crawling up to me even before their eyes had opened, that I think they confused me as their mom (and Ronja as a feeding post ) Eevee and Muta even washed my hair ever so often, the deepest kind of affection a cat can show =^_^=
A cat never give a full wash to someone who isn't among their closest. Eevee still do that. But it made it hard for me to pass up Muta for adoption.... I still miss her terribly...

That is so wonderful! Aww, that's too bad that you had to pass on Muta to an adoption. I know I'd miss the kittens so much when I had to find homes for them.
Hee hee, that's a better cat birthing story than mine, she had Eevee on your lap! Way cool. I had to pull Fuzzy Astarte out of Hecky because she was oversize and breech and got stuck, came out tail and butt and hind legs waving as she tried to climb back in, so I grabbed her and tugged and there she was. People said the mother would reject a newborn kitten that was handled, but I just handed her to Hecky, who washed her and washed my hand and popped off five more in quick succession.
She tried to have her kittens in the drawer of my writing desk on the manuscript of Raven Dance, the novel I now have in print and available at Amazon. But I moved her (still had to retype the title page and a couple of pages) into an apple crate and gave her half a dozen towels to pad it and put it where the drawer was, shutting the drawer, so she settled for her birthing box instead of my manuscript. I guess that was good luck for my book even if I had to do some retyping!
That is so sweet how Ronja got so attached to you. Once you're family, you're family! Aww so cool the kittens wash you. Ari washes me occasionally. He's not much of a washy cat, but he'll do it with me now and then and it's always so special when he does.
Great feature entry. I just saw it come up after I answered your comment so I went and looked, and now I do need to do Eevee soon. She's so beautiful!
