This issuch magnificent work, mainly considering how vague Tolkien's descriptions of the Noldor armour is. So fantastical, but yet so similar to many forms of eastern european armour during the middle ages.

You know I've been paying attention to a lot of eastern europe armour. It's really interesting how they bridged the gap between middle eastern and west european styles. Love those winged hussars! haven't seen anything like it other than the samurai standards...which would also be an interesting look.
