Ranma has the option:He can try Akane`s grub & get a deadly stomach upset or he can be poisoned by Kodachi`s cookies & fall into a deep sleep. Perhaps it`s better when he takes the ramen with the love potion of Shampoo?
What he can eat regardless is Ukyo`s okonomiyaki, but then he will get good beating of the other girls & P-Chan. After that he will get into trouble with Soun Tendo - bleak prospects...
So Genma tries to do the best in this situation - he makes his gravestone!
Ranma is an evergreen for me - always when Iยดm sad or bad-tempered this anime can cheer up me - in the past and today.

XD I don`t speak english very good, but in germany "evergreen" is a word for an eternal classic. I don`t know a other way to say it colloquial in english.
