Ending my quarantine vacation with introducing a new OC. I rewatched ATLA and LoK and as I always do, I made an OC. So meet Zhou Ming, who started at the bottom and ended up at the top (never stop living those indulgent dreams, my friends, they're too much fun).

Short summary: She was abandoned in the palace by her servant mother after she found a new lover, but became friends with Iroh II that same day, which allowed her to stay around and grow up into a servant role. After learning Iroh started to get feelings for her, the royal family started to move things around to get Ming closer to the family so a marriage would never cause an uproar. She became a trusted advisor to lord Zuko, and kept that role until Harmonic Convergence when she gained airbending powers. Because of this, she left the firenation to train with Tenzin but is still regarded a part of the royal court.

She also has vitiligo, which set in shortly after being abandoned. Many think her mother left her because it was seen as a curse, but after reuniting with her mother, she found out it was purely because she couldn't take a daughter from a colony husband with her to her new relationship.
This drawing would be season 4-ish Zhou Ming, after reinforcing her position in the royal family and completing her training as a bender.
