My sister did mention about TP!Zelda is an 'lawful good' elven non-Disney sample of Esmeralda the 'chaotic good' gypsy. Having you heard anything about an 'so beautiful, it's a curse' tropes? She always said that this poor sweet Zelda would have become the object of desire to the overly vicious 'chaotic evil' Telltale!Riddler and getting psychologically, physically and even sexually assaulted by him...rather than having her being possessed by Ganondorf, that's for sure.
