Description
We begin 2021 with the lovely, mature Sahar, Iranian Sorceress Supreme. She is the eldest daughter of the now-defunct Shinobi no Michi’s own Hashashin, Arshad, who has since made the leap to Project: Galaxy X. Sahar will follow her father to Project: Galaxy X
The Sun plays a huge part in her design. Her name in Arabic and Persian means “Dawn”. In keeping with this, her outfit is based around the clothing worn in Ancient Persia. She herself is of Persian ethnicity, as the town she hails from, Shiraz, is located within Fars Province. Fars (or Pars) is the historical homeland of the Persian people, the homeland of the old Achaemenid and Sasanian Empires and home to the famous Persepolis ruins. The lion and sun symbol on her dress are ancient symbols of Old Persia that were used up until the Iranian Revolution.
I gave her a Scythe because: 1. It's a fairly unique weapon for a Middle-Eastern character (versus the usual Scimitar, Dagger, Axe etc.) and 2. They're fun to design.
For the MILF fans she is indeed a MILF. However, nowadays, her family only consists of her and her adult firstborn child, Shaheen (no relation to the Tekken character). Her husband and daughter were killed in a Mosque bombing by Iranian H.U.M. agents. That was long ago. Nowadays, Sahar lives in peace as a successful entrepreneur in Durham, North Carolina. Delilah Kato, heroine of Project Galaxy X, is an employee and close friend of Sahar’s. For reference, the two meet after the events of Part 1.
I enjoyed designing her and I hope you enjoy her just as much!

Short Bio: The feminine name “Sahar” means “Dawn” in the Arabic and Persian languages. For Sahar Sadeghi, being given this name was no coincidence. Much like the dawn for which she is named, Sahar is radiant, determined, outgoing and powerful both in mind, body and spirit. But she’s also a mother and, much like the sun, is warm and nurturing to those she cares for, be they family or friend. Today, she is nothing short of a success but to earn this success she had to endure a seemingly endless night.
For Sahar, this night fell on February 14th 2016. Iranian agents of the secrularist terrorist organization Humanity’s Upward March (H.U.M.), atheists disgruntled by the country’s Theocratic regime set up during the Iranian Revolution of the 1970’s, walked into a mosque equipped with suicide bombs. Fifty people were killed that morning; among those were Sahar’s husband, Cyrus, and only daughter, Mitra, who had just turned 15 that day. Sahar and her son and firstborn, Shaheen, left the mosque earlier to prepare Mitra’s birthday party later in the day. Sahar and Shaheen would learn of the tragedy just after they’d finished shopping. Heartbroken and outraged, Sahar felt herself wanting to lash out. She would get her chance when her father, former Shah Assassin-turned CIA Operative Arshad , returned to Iran to offer his condolences.
The tragedy perpetrated by H.U.M. was not unique to Sahar or even Iran. For about a year, the scientists and alternative thinkers at H.U.M. had been on a violent crusade against anything and everything religious, spiritual and/or supernatural. Unwilling to stand for it, the nations of the world came together under the United Nations banner to launch a counteroffensive against H.U.M. This conflict would later become known as the Third Great War and, through his connections with the CIA, Arshad offered Sahar a spot in the U.N.’s Volunteer Corp—but not before trying to talk his firstborn child out of it. Try as he might, Sahar knew what she had to do and could not be swayed. Shaheen felt the same as his mother and offered to volunteer with her to keep an eye on her. Arshad agreed, if still hesitant.
Mother and son spent three brutal years on the frontline of the Third Great War. During that time the two managed to make a name for themselves on the battlefield. Sahar, a Sorceress Supreme, was scrapping H.U.M.’s countless Cyborgs, Robots, and Androids with ease while Shaheen, an acrobatic swordsman, wowed his fellow fighters by dodging countless Sci-Fi lazer guns and beam swords. Not surprisingly, the duo was unstoppable together, with Sahar’s spells buffing Shaheen’s melee combat. While the war was no picnic in any sense, Sahar and Shaheen saw their actions and reasoning as just and took pride in the fact that they were helping make the world a better place.
After the War, Sahar and Shaheen found themselves unable to return to Iran; at least for the time being. After all, there was little there for them but heartbreak. Again, Arshad came to their aid and offered them to come live in the United States. He and his son Amar (Sahar’s younger brother) had long settled into the small town of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In fact, Amar had a family of his own and was more than happy to help out his big sister. With family behind them and nothing to lose, mother and son headed for the United States.
It’s been five years since then and Sahar is a new and stronger woman. She is a successful Entrepreneur and owner of the Dawn Oasis, an exotic themed restaurant/nightclub and Belly Dance Studio in Durham. Because her name is both Arab and Persian, the club features cuisine, music and art from cultures all over the Middle East. Dawn Oasis has become a real hit in Durham because it caters to all ages. During the day, it is a family-friendly restaurant until 10:00 PM. From 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM it is a nightclub featuring some of the best Belly Dancers in the area. One of the Oasis’ most popular dancers is none other than Japanese-American Delilah Kato , who happens to be a close friend of Sahar’s and a part-time instructor in the Dance Studio. Delilah modestly shrugs off her fame but, in truth, Sahar and Dawn Oasis owe her a great deal for their success. Delilah’s passion for and love of the Dance can be felt by all who enter and Sahar, for one, sees her as a valued employee and friend.
Though the pain of losing her husband and daughter will never truly go away, nowadays Sahar chooses to remember the good times she had with them. If there was one good thing to come of the tragedy, it’s that she and Shaheen are closer than ever, with Shaheen apprenticing under his mother at the Oasis while going back to school. Amazingly, both mother and son have retained their faithfulness to this day and try to go to Mosque together when they can, though Shaheen is often busy.
Little does Sahar realize that fate still has plans for her…big plans.
