When a new model comes along, it's sometimes difficult to keep focused on a particular project or theme. Such was the case with Forge World's awesome Black Templar Dreadnought , which managed to completely derail my various Ultramarines builds.

Of course, the trouble with Forge World is the sheer diversity of their models; too often, the various arms for a dreadnought kit won't match the look or theme of the torso, leading to an unbalanced or inconsistant appearance. Fortunately for me, Citidel had recently released a beautifully detailed pewter Venerable Dreadnought kit, the arms and powerplant for which made an excellent addition to the Executioner's final build.
