An example of one of the very few occassions in which I will actually prototype a conversion before moving directly to the final build, this is the second version of this particular concept. The original, as I understand it, is now serving as an aspiring champion in the Khornate host of one of my hobby center's regulars; he asked nicely if I could build one for him, so I offered to let him have it outright.

What really sets this model apart, both on the battlefield and in comparison to other Terminator character conversions, are the shoulderpads. Drawing on imagery from the Horus Heresy series of art books, this build started out filling an entirely different role in a completely seperate project before I decided he'd look better in blue and gold. The distinctive shoulderpads are taken from the plastic Dreadnought kit (always a fine source of bits), while parts from Marneus Calgar , Logan Grimnar , Captain Lysander and Commander Culln round out the model.
