Description Everybody most likely has one of these shots if you live in Colorado, well here is mine. This was shot out of a car window during spring outside of Woodland Park. It is the majestic Pikes Peak, a 14er of Colorado. I do hope you enjoy it's beauty as much as I did living next to it for so many years.

Thanks for the wonderful comment. It's a great area, although can get cold at times. The winters are quite beautiful though! Should do it, stay away from Denver though. Unless you like big spread out dirty cities.

Uploaded the newer, less noise pic, although it may have softened it too much. See what ya think. Still messing around with the program.

The best lighting for that shot IMO is dawn, and try to be halfway between Woodland Park and Divide. The rising sun will catch every crevice

I agree with that, there's a wonderful view on that side (is it back or front?). This was shot in late afternoon after seeing the fossil beds.
