Yes, there are so many subtle morphs to add realism. It’s always worth experimenting and using real life images as reference.

Yes, it could be that, or sometimes a misalignment of the material over the eyeball or morphs applied to the figure. I’m glad to hear this tip might help you further.

This script is also worth mentioning. I can't work without it: sites.google.com/site/mcasuals…

Does this also help when you reload the scene?
I mean after a long day work you decide I gonna this render later.. so you save the file.
Later you load it again render.. only to find the bloody eyes did not follow the cam.
I fix it by moving the eye point before rendering .. but it makes rendering in batches a big no no

I suppose you could create a null target or two and try pointing the eyes at it, but I’d still use this technique to set it up if you’re wanting direct eye contact. Once you find the sweet spot you can parent the null to just about anything, including the camera, and keep it for later.

I've found that after setting the eyes to point at an invisible target parented to the Camera, if all the Camera properties except Scale are locked, then all I have to do is try to move the camera, and it won't move, but the eyes will shoot back to being aimed at the target.

Yes, I did try this before but depending on the textures and morphs it didn’t always naturally line up. This was specifically for eye contact to the viewer.

Ah, that's odd. I've never had a morph/character break the eyes, but I have had textures that did so!

I don't recall exactly which characters gave me eye problems from morphs but it was one of the cartoon style like Star or Sakura, I believe. Nevertheless, the technique helps in just about any situation (even to double-check the results of automation scripts).
