Fabian Roenach
The previous Crown Prince of Koben, widely believed to have been assassinated while representing his father at rejuvination peace talks with Miras. A social butterfly and afficiondo of the military, he was well-liked by both the nobility and the commonfolk he interacted with. He was often present for military functions, and travelled widely all over the Empire on visitation duties; as a keen fencer, it is said he would never turn down an offer to spar if he could afford the diversion. The time he spent in the army was, he felt, the best time of his life; after his return to normal duties, he seemed to gain a new level of enthusiasm, becoming a much more common sight at public occasions compared to his father. He was 24 at time of death.

The Empress of Koben. She presents a very stoic and respectable image and tends to say very little during public appearances other than what seems rehearsed - some say this is simply because she is not astute enough to really hold her own. Nevertheless, Artur seems quite satisfied with his choice so such words are left to the tabloids, having no actual import. Her family are minor nobles with property close to the Bratkovan border (the Barony of Marnau).
