if you took your photo Face of Rock and overexposed it that's kind of what it looked like. I have a lot of photo work by my pen name Gerald Bostock gerald-bostock.deviantart.com/ about 1200 of them all with an iPhone and apps. but i find getting to this point was my real goal. Yet some works work only as photos and some only as drawing this is a nexus of them with the right works. Danke

im taking photos is "Slow Shutter" when i get a good abstract composition, i print it on very good acid free drawing paper and then i draw, what the shapes show me, nothing is planed which is so different than my realistic work. I have been doing iPhoneography and teaching it but now im combing drawing and photo work, makes sense thank you

interesting technique. what medium do you draw with? I can't even identify the photo and the drawing part.

pencil.....i didn't want it to be obvious but most of the details and lines are graphite the colors and general composition is the photo
