jole was an adventurer when he was younger- as such he built a very tough exterior even if he looks old he could probably take you down pretty quickly. he had no intention of settling down until he met Lilly- Peach's mom. they were smitten for each other.

it was rather easy to adapt to farm life he was already used to physical labor- what he wasnt used to was kids.

he was strict but reasonable- before lilly left- but after that he became much worse. Especially to peach who he blamed for the whole thing. sometimes he would even hit the poor child- his other children only had to deal with his bursts of anger.
