Dressed in royal guard attire, Cynder is one of the main driving forces of the invading armies, her size superiority compared to the human soldier allowing her to easily decimate numerous attackers before fleeing for repairs. When not destroying humans herself, Cynder will raise their corpses as cannon fodder, distracting humans until the rest of the invaders have surrounded them.

Before Cynder was an invader on Earth, she was a hero known as a Skylander, fighting to defend her world from evil. When the core was destroyed and new monsters emerged, Cynder's mentor Spyro was killed protecting her from a Grabber. This essentially broke Cynder, her world was gone, her friends had fled, and now her mentor too; she abandoned her heroism and took on a cruel fighting syle, whatever it takes to survive.
