Spells and spellcasting is another strength of his; it is simple magic compared to non-spell magic.
Can use non-spell magic to simulate telekinesis, but requires a lot of energy, and can be easily draining.

◢◣ P E R S O N A L I T Y:
Scarlet is sometimes considered mysterious and intriguing, but mainly because he's so closed off and secluded, and a man of few words. This is because he's a grump, but also because he's actually really shy. He lets Charlie do a lot of the talking for him, Charlie being the more eloquent speaker, because sometimes Scar just fumbles to get sentences out, despite having a rather large vocabulary. Even as grumpy as he is, he's not such a bad person once that exterior is removed; he has a rather kind inner disposition, and likes to care for plants and animals. If you can get past the grump, Scar is a rather quiet presence, but sturdy. He's reliable, if he considers you a friend, he will always be there for you no matter what you need. He tends to be rather selfless, putting other's needs above his. He does, however, have a bad habit of withdrawing when things get to be too much. He'll still do what he needs to, but emotionally detached, and will need time alone or with a close friend to recharge. It's a bit hard for him to make friends, though, because of how cynical he is of others, especially humans.

TL;DR: Scarlet hides behind older brother Alli a lot, grows up shy while Alli is the brash one doing all the talking. Gets bullied for various reasons, but always saved by Alli until Alli moves away for college. With no shield, Scar's attackers get more vicious, so Scar fakes his own death and joins the local coven. Drama happens and he has to flee, and winds up in Hallows Haven.

Scarlet Asmodeus Wilder was born in Windsor, in England in the year 1843. Preceded by older brother Alastair by 4 years, Scarlet took to being the older boy's shadow. Alli was Scar's security blanket, his defense against the world. Alli didn't mind taking up the mantle, and the boys grew up like Yin and Yang, so opposite yet rarely ever seen apart. Kids are kids, though, and Scarlet got picked on while Alli would be the popular one, his easy smile and charming dimples always winning over hearts, while Scar's quiet, easygoing approach was looked down upon by societal standards. This continued for all of the two boys' schooling, but when Alli moved to attend college, Scar was left all alone to face 4 more years of schooling, without his protector. Things got progressively worse, as he couldn't bring himself to defend himself from his tormentors, his only defense with Alli; Alli was the confrontational one, the brash, loud-spoken one. Scar could only stutter his retorts, and as solid as they were, the stutters rendered them moot. Scar dealt with it the best he could, until he reached a breaking point.

Alli came home for the week.

He had never been jealous of his brother, he never wanted the life Alli had. He didn't want to be popular, fawned after by girls, or well liked by everyone. But that day, when Alli came back, and everything for him was swell and great and he was well loved, Scar couldn't take it anymore. He had made friends at school, other social outcasts, but they weren't outcasts for the same reason he was. They believed in the occult, they belonged to a coven. They asked him to join them, and for the longest time, he refused. He couldn't just join a coven, as if he wasn't looked down on enough before. But Alli coming home, Alli's perfect little life, it ws enough to tip him over the edge. Maybe it was fate that it was Alli who found his lifeless body, Alli who screamed and cried for help, to save his dear baby brother. But it was too late, the boy was gone. He was no longer in their world, he was in another. One where he felt like he actually belonged. There was magic in his bloodline, and he eagerly embraced his heritage.

This was the beginning of a peaceful life for Scar, dutifully learning and devoting himself to his studies. Things were just fine, until a vampire showed up on their doorstep. Scar paled when he recognized him as his brother, Alli. After Scar's supposed suicide, Alli had been drinking too much, had been at the wrong place, at the wrong time. But now, he was here. He wanted to reunite with his baby brother, become Yin and Yang again. But Scar still held deep resentment for the life Alli left him to live, and literally shut the door in Alli's face. Alli didn't accept this, however, and became almost obsessive over Scar. He couldn't put the coven through Alli's relentless attempts to get back to his brother, so in the dead of noon, when Alli was asleep, Scar took all he could carry and left, once again resentful of Alli for ruining his life.

Scar found refuge in Hallow's Haven, where he could once again live a peaceful life, free from ties to his old one.

His scarf is enchanted; its name is Charles, though it insists on being called Charlie. Has a foul mouth(probably makes up for Scar).
Scar's magic has different intensities, and can be differentiated by color, much like fire. Simple magic like charming and magic he excels at are yellow. Telekinesis and more advanced magic he's not so practiced at is red. Intense, intermidate, unpracticed magic is purple. He's only used purple twice in his lifetime.
Has a bit of a stutter with strangers and people he's still unfamiliar with. As he gets more comfortable and confident with someone, the stutter will more or less fade.
His eyes are a violet-blue, but has a ring of gold around the pupil.
Face claims and such: 1/4 2/4 3/4 4/4
His accent doesn't mix well with latin sometimes, unfortunately. Do be careful around him.
Hands will get icy cold, even in summer.
Has freckles on his back and arms but nowhere else.

Skype always works for RPing, but I'm overall more active on Discord, and I occasionally use other methods. Comments are off limits.
I'm very chill with RPing anything, but be aware that if you are a minor, NSFW is off-limits. Lead up is fine, because something might come up to interrupt/change mood/etc, but as soon as things get explicit, it's going to black. For NSFW in general, please give a heads up if this is where you want to divert the RP. Gore, uncomf topics, and other stuff, I'm ok with, but please do give a bit of a heads up in case something needs to be discussed (i.e. conditions you may not be aware of).
Shipping availability: I'm just going to put this out there now as to avoid confusion later. I'm ok with shipping. Please be aware that not every ship will work, however, as some characters do not have chemistry like that. On an even further note, Scar is demiromantic/sexual. I will not agree to a ship after just 1 interaction, I have to see how their relationship develops before that happens, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't approach! If you think after 1 interaction that your OC would be interested in him, go for it, say so! You can't prevent those things from happening IRL, so I don't mind. Just don't expect Scar to have feelings back, as romance isn't something very important to him and the fact that he is demi. Further discussion can be had 1:1 if you have questions.
