Uggh, this looks really good on my Mac's monitor but washed out on my parents' PC's.
So this is finally done. The dress was an experiment, and I really like how it turned out. Instead of shading every individual dot (which would have taken an eternity) I used like 10 gradients going in different directions. I'm glad it worked so well.
The face I'm not so happy with. I like the dress and the hands. What do you think?

Verrry cool. You should show blown-up "close up" shots of areas like the hand and the more "intricate" areas.

love the composition and i like how the dress is indistinguishable from the background, or the skin being luminous; maybe like Rembrandt or somethin if i had to compare it.
I'm not experienced in vector art other than makin logos... and if this has anything to do with illustrator i wouldnt know the first step in making this; i'm sure vector artists know more than me, however, what i'm saying is,
the same thing couldnt be done with film. i love it.

The right side of her face looks a bit stretched. But this is a really good one. I'd clap if you could hear it.
