I've been seeing a lot of people do the sharpie challenge with drawing on youtube and decided to try it out myself.
I've been trying to get into watching RWBY due to my best friend constantly sending me clips of the show on youtube.
I suppose you can say I am interested in it as its got an animal and video game type art which I like a lot.
So, in drawing this, I just used a lot of black and red...I'm surprised that they didn't die after using a lot of layers on the red. Had to use brown on Ruby's hair since it looked plain, boring and would blend in with her cape.
I plan on drawing the other RWBY team members in the same silhouette style I did here. Attempted to draw Weiss but I didn't have the correct sharpie colors and had to use copies but that totally screwed the drawing up with all the blending, so I'll most likely draw her last.
I actually had fun drawing and coloring this in. Sadly the fumes of the sharpies gave me a headache so I had to take a few breaks while coloring it in. It turned out better than I thought it would turn out, turned out just the way I thought it would turn out.
So I'm super excited to draw the others, not to excited with Weiss due to her color scheme of white, she will be a bit difficult but it will defiantly give me a challenge.
When I'm done with all four I plan to tape them all together and frame them. MiGht give it to my brother as he is of need of some form of art at his place
