Ahem. First things first, while I have had previous (and not to mention, 'to-be-eternally-lost') accounts on deviant art, I have decided to stick with this one once and for all. I also originate from the world of fanfiction.net. To those who are also habitants of that weird and wacky world of literature, let us shakes hands and bro-hug. To those who aren't, please don't stone me. I'm an artist and writer at heart and heaven forbid, I only wish that I would exceed the half-baked skill level of both areas mentioned. That will require lots of work but hey, I've gotten up to this point through sheer practice (killing of trees) and determination and have been able to look back at past works (art and writing alike)...and laugh...or just cringe in disgust. Dat practice be paying off! *Insert shiny background*
To some, I may be known as Senbei x Cup Ramen which is more accurately a two-man team for fanfiction.net. Being the wonderful mathematician I am, I erased the 'Cup Ramen' part of the name (since really, it belongs it my editor)...and shoved the x in front of 'Senbei'. Because 'x' needs a home. And it looks cooler that way...or does it? *Insert le shifty eyes*

You're graduating before me what?! I might even have to stay an extra year! Haha. I've been working on drawing and writing this summer and caught up on some things on tumblr, as you've probably seen XD. Lately, though, since job training happened, and then work, and school started back up, it's just about all I can do to write two paragraphs before crashing!

I tried to learn from Mashima's style but I quickly realized that his proportions for the females are too much for me to handle. Correction: Too much for me to handle even when equipped with a compass ; __ ; .

Honestly, I'd say to learn with real proportions and then try to distort them. I learned how to draw from the Inuyasha or YuYu Hakusho or Sailor Moon styles, but eventually started to try to make them just a tiny bit more realistic, and then Fairy Tail happened and you can see occasional influences from that or from Arina Tanemura's work...but I really think the best way is to start trying to learn from real people. When you have a better grasp of how the figure works, then it's easier to distort it. If that makes sense...?
