Cute but not attractive. They're all like 11! I guess that's good for some people, but those people are CREEPS. Or 11 years old.

But, yeah, that part with all the guns in the ground was exceptionally well animated. And really creative.

I'm sure they make some sort of boy-only equivalent somewhere. Ask Nan, she'll know (lol).

I'm doing pretty good. Been tired a lot lately, and haven't been drawing much, so that sucks, but I had a good weekend.
I just started using social networking sites again, specifically facebook. I've had an account there for ages, but I stopped using it for a while. It's lame to always be seeing photo-galleries of things you can't come/aren't invited to.

It's doin' okay. I'm drawing a lot. I think I'll post something tonight after work. I've been trying to draw cleaner pictures. What about you? Any new resolutions/plans/initiatives to improve?
I got some cool new art pens and pencils for sketching and inking. They're really fine. I was looking at buying some copics, but they are a million dollars.

Copics are expensive. If you want to save money, look at the websites that sell 72 markers with a discount. That's almost a $300 investment, though, so you'd have to save up in order to save money overall.

I'm not very driven as of now. I'll just settle for drawing at leisure, improving whenever I feel like it. Art's part of my life, but I doubt it'll be a significant portion of my future. Sad..

Well thankfully, I'm a Canadian. But Canadians are famous boozers. [link] in fact, this commercial which seems to be advertising Canada, and is set to Requiem for a Dream, is actually advertising Canadian beer. I was actually kinda disappointed, because otherwise it's pretty cool.

Wow, that DID make Canada look really cool. And really, really cold. Requiem is a bit of an overused song though (in commercials), don't you think? (I have it on my iPod though...)

I hate when a commercial is really awesome and gets you all pumped, only to be about some... product. Still! Makes you feel good in the beginning. That's worth something.

It's good that our styles are evolving! You really don't notice it until you look back at your old work and think... "blegh." Like how all my old pictures had SUCH POINTY CHINS. They still do, but it's less severe.

I'll wallow in guilt over WIPs with you, my friend. *sob*

Canada is really cool! I live in an area that's exactly like that video, basically. Tons of majestic mountains and clear glacier lakes. But, yeah, hooooof, it's cold. This particular part of British Columbia (the province of Canada in which I reside) isn't as cold as some other places in Canada, but whoo... The lakes here are sooo freezing cold! The water comes straight down from the ice-caps, so swimming in them is extremely horrible. I think I posted a picture of one of the lakes nearby, once. Here on DA, that is.
Requiem is used excessively. Especially since I don't think that it is quite as cool as people think it is. Plus, it's not really Canadian, so it doesn't really fit with any depiction of Canada. Though, Canadian music, as a rule, isn't symphony music. We don't really have any good classical composers.
The music that really is the heart and soul of Canada is the folk music. Probably the greatest Canadian song ever, and one that I cannot hear without emotion, is Northwest Passage by Stan Rogers. [link]
It might sound like old and boring music... But it connects me to the history of my nation like no other thing.

Hahaha, I'm trying to get less pointy chins as well. When you're used to it, pointy chins look more 'dignified' or something, then regular chins. But no-one has chins like that!
