Yes, yes I am. I just turned in the rough draft for the summer.
The only one to do a Group 1 topic.

OOOO! I remember those days... Good luck!! Group 1...We organized it by subject...History, English, Philosophy...etc. I did mine on the evaluation of the Japanese Writing System.
I just graduated so I'm just waiting on my scores. O___O!!! The essay, I don't think is that hard nor is the TOK essay. The tests are only hard if you don't study for them. If you need any info or advice, I'd be willing to help! (Our IB coordinator didn't really tell us anything, so all of us IB kids were running around like ants looking for him and trying to find out info on exactly what the IB Board in some far off distant land determining our doom wants us to do.)

Your so lucky. A bunch of topics got introduced to us this year, after we had dedicated so much time to all the other BORING topics. It was sad. I tried to do an analysis of higher powers in manga, Advisor says, "NO!"
I took IB physics and ITGS this year, so I'm waiting on scores too. So good luck to us both! Thanks for all the advice. I may take you up on the "asking" part. Sometimes the coordinator just seesm scary. haha!

That sucks. I choose my advisor based on my topic...>.> and so I changed advisers several times... but higher powers in manga should've worked. Well...it may have something to do with the fact that we speak english and manga is generally written in Japanese. It has to do with that "forgien language needs to be your first language" idea that's with the english section...I believe.
Ugh...IB Physics. Hopefully you had a good teacher. Our chem and phyics and HL Math are all screwed because our teachers had no idea what they were doing. Well, Chem did butshe was old and senile...and it supposed to be retiring...Good luck to you too!! But can your coordinator be found? Ours was always lost. XD

Yeah. It did have to do with the fact it's written in Japanese. IB is so hypocritical, claiming to be "international and gobally friendly".
Physics was hard at first. But we had a good teacher and it got better. But the 7am labs every week didn't help. We were so jealous of the Enviromental Systems kids, because we thought it was easier. but apparently their teacher sucked. So we might of had it better. Where does your IB coordinator go? Ours is usually in the IB office, accept when you really need to turn something in and then she's out lost.
Have you ever been to ibquotes.com? It made me laugh at the evils and horrors that IB makes me go through. Which is healthy...

They hide behind the fact that "the words won't be translated properly" when in fact they give us books that weren't originally written in english either...my school had a fetish for the Spanish...bleh. Japanese is better. Way better. Tho, I'm trying to learn Korean. XD
Having a better teacher always makes a difference. At least, that's what I've learned. I've had some pretty bad teachers through the years, and my work has suffered because of it.
I've been there...but haven't actually read anything. I guess you could say I'm moving on...

Yeah. Same with all those World Lit books they make us read. Why do they hire these stupid teachers? Don't they know we need good teachers in order to pass the tests?
So frustrating.... If the teachers dn't get it, why would the students?

So true! I was lucky to have an amazing english teacher my senior year. She saved my grade and my ability to write essays.
