i was still wondering if could use your drawings but telling the card company that they have to create their own without doing any plagiarism of your drawing. i would like to use your drawings because they are amazing and even when they wouldn't be used in the printed version of the real card i would still give u credit for the initial drawing.

by the way the cards i create may become real cards someday. that means the company would be selling them. but only them would make a profit. is that ok with you?

The deviantart symbol is the watermark generated to protect my work. I was okay with you using my artwork under the assumption that you were designing those cards just for your own artistic experience, but I'm afraid I cannot simply hand them out to be used for commercial purposes. I appreciate your honesty in telling me, though.

i understand. i mean i had to be completely honest with you. well my guess is that the best i can do is just tell them that they can't use your pics, but they have to create their own. i am sure your pics will make the concept of the card attractive even though ur pics are not going to be used in the final card that may be sold.

oops! I just realized what my mistake was. In my deviantwatch there was a piece that looked a lot like your work (was obviously someone else's) and chronologically was grouped in with your stuff, and in the artist's statement said they were apprenticing. I obviously wasn't paying very close attention - that's what happens when you multitask too much.
But what I said about the recent pieces that actually are your is still true.
