Meh, I heard the city grows on you or something. I'm originally from NJ (like half of the Boston population) so I spent a lot of time in NYC when I was growing up. I think Boston has a lot of potential to be a great city but I just see that potential being diminshed through stupid and very frustrating things.
I suppose the biggest complaint I have is the time the T shuts down, thus affecting the timing of everything else.
I don't know I am going to be a lot more active this year and I will be mountain biking a lot. Hopefully that will alleviate some of the drag the city has.
What do you normally do for fun in Boston?

Ah, you are the second person I sortof know from SMFA! I actually go to Mass. College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences which is right across from MassArt. Currently, I live on Palace Rd, which is right off of Longwood. You're in your second year? What is your medium?
I actually miss Boston too.

i almost went to SMFA.. b/c the lack of computer equipment actually lol...well, not the lack.. it wasn't as good as emerson's... so although i was drawn by their amaaaazing art dept and almost went to the school.. i figured it would be cheaper to take artclasses on the side then trying to aquire thousands of dollars worth of computer stuff (my other passion) so now i'm a new media major at emerson...not sure what im doing exactly yet its a lot more disciplined than SMFA i havent yet decided if thats a good thing....I think I'm going to do ProArts through my school though and take classes there
