If I remember correctly, Kiyohiko said he doesn't want Yotsuba to be turned into an anime, for what I would assume to be artistic integrity. So yeah, I'm perfectly happy with Yotsuba as a manga.

Interesting...guess he feels the "look" of the anime won't allow the story to shine like it does in the manga.

I see what he means, I think it could get too generic if they made it into a manga, instead of a real artistic and manga-esque translation.

No wonder! It's Kyohiko! Haha that guy's amazing.

I read some reviews of the manga and it is a smart attempt at reviving Padudu's initial character and story.

A silly, clueless, happy young girl going on about her every day life full of plots and twists.

I wish that lazy bum Kyohiko would finish Magical Play though...I mean he could make it different than this one manga by adding more action to it along with the silly comedy. I'd say, add more magical girl action and tournaments to it. I really do see a day when he'll re-take the project one day.

Anyway Yotsuba's her name, cool cool. And the manga's name's the same.

I'll definately look for it at B&N sometime this month.
