Eh, true, although I have quite a ways to go. I still need to keep improving (I only see mistakes once they're in ink most of the time). In fact, I still need to finish my 'shop of Sophia (I posted a work in proggres of it in scraps. Hell, I haven't even finished ALL the MAIN characters yet for my rpg concept. I still need to step it up!

A good storyline and characters that have interesting pasts, and aren't stereotypical and lame. Interesting, loveable, ones I can relate to or feel for, or even hate. c:

Yes, But with this, I want the player to make the storyline their own though their desisions- not just pick the color of an explosion (Fable is also bad with it's desision dynamic, because in the end, you're STILL king no matter what you did). I don't think anyones done what I want to do on this scale before. Obviously, I won't make everthing completly diffrent for every desision, but it will still be an inhuman amount of work to pull it all together.
The player also makes their own backstory, based on the kinds of desisions they made that reveals the kind of person they are. But for others, there will too many characters to give them ALL a backstory, and they don't honestly need one if it's not relevant, it just distracts in a bad way. A good character does not need a past as long as they are not one-dimentional.
I will take every chance I can get to make fun of RPG stereotypes and cliches- especialy the rampant sexism and armor and silly weapons. The character will have lame moments, but it will be 'voice of reason' lame, like not letting you go in a dark dangerous cave after walking for three days. And then they'll be an asshole, mainly because you've been an ass to them. This game will make karma make sense.
