Hi. I was a big fan of your show back when Gexup, that chick who looks like a cartoon, you, and possible Themudkip1234. I wanna be as famous as you are. But? I don't wanna end of not make anymore videos. So should I be only doing gaming reviews of things you never heard of? Or anime reviews. Should I use a site that allows copyright footage in videos or bust? In my opinion I'll go to zippcast in case Blip says fuck it. But sense I hate blip, I'mma gonna say FUCK THEM RIGHT IN THE PUSSY! Just saying? love from your friendly neighborhood spider Vic.

Well, do what pleases you the most. I've done some game reviews on games that are not very popular (Whiplash is an example) and I've done both game and movie reviews. If you're worried about copyright, you can always use Dailymotion or Vimeo to upload those videos there. Then you can post a video on YouTube announcing the review and provide a link to the video in the description box. Hope that helps.

thedoritocoon In reply to Colurdures2 [2014-09-29 20:07:56 +0000 UTC]
Well, for special occasions like weddings, us men wear kilts (I wore one this year for my sister's wedding) and most of the time, we tend to not wear any underwear underneath. hehe We also celebrate a day dedicated to our most famous poet, Robert Burns.
And of course our drinking culture. hehe Not once do we have a party without beer and the like.

Speaking of steryotypes is it safe to say that Sccotish look at us Americans as well...idiots?Β
I mean no disrespect, its just that i heard that people of the United Kindgdoms have no respect for Americans, which is resonalbe considering the choices and backdowns our administrations have commited.Β

I don't think it applies to just the United Kingdom but from other European countries as well. And no, we don't thinkΒ you're idiots. We can be confused by some of the things you guys do, but that doesn't mean we think you're stupid, at least not all of you anyway.

I'd love to vist it one day as well as all the U.K.
I know these questions seem a bit annoying but i wanted to learn about Scottland from the people who live there, not from these youtube videos or wikipedia...although wikipedia has shown to be more and more acruate.Β

I respect the fact that you prefer the older Tomb Raider games over the newer Tomb Raider games, I'm not saying one is better, they're both as good as one another in my opinion.
NOTE: I have not played Last Revelations, Chronicles, Angel of Darkness, Legends, Anniversary, Underworld, or any spin-off, but I am planning to get the Reboot for the PS3, because I love the whole Climbing Axe as a weapon concept.

Hello there, just wanted to say something about your last video here if you don't mind. Your 12 Favorite Games list, it's a good list, even if I kinda disagree with some. In fact, WHY DON'T YOU LIKE ANY OF THE CRYSTAL DYNAMICS TR GAMES? Especially the 2013 Re-Reboot at least, I prefer any of them over the Core titles. I know you're going to hate this, but none of them have aged well. The original's controls are clunky, the enemies are annoying, & the lack of music bores me. :l

thedoritocoon In reply to 2000Scarlet [2014-08-01 15:32:20 +0000 UTC]
Well I'm glad you enjoy the Crystal Dynamic ones. For me, they just didn't leave a lasting impression on me like the ones done by Core Design did. They gave a good sense of Lara's character as well as having a interesting atmosphere. I was kinda disappointed with the 2006 remake of the first game since they tried to make it all Prince of Persia. I prefer the original because the story dealt with a evolution/science like story which I preferred. And I feel the 2013 reboot tried to make the franchise more dark and edgy, something that's always a risk when it comes to franchises that were not dark and edgy to begin with.
I agree that the originals haven't aged well in the controls, but I still think the environments, themes and enemies were a lot more interesting. Also, I thought the lack of music added to the atmosphere of the game. When it's silent, you feel more into the environment and more of a loner in the game which is what Lara is, a loner. Depending on what type of game you're making, the game doesn't always need have a score.
Again, I respect that you enjoy the other games, but for me, they didn't do much. Hope you understand.

I'm actually glad you responded kindly, I was a bit worried I would regret that comment. By the way, do you have any runner-ups for that list? Surprised you didn't mention any of the Batman Arkham games.

thedoritocoon In reply to 2000Scarlet [2014-08-14 17:13:42 +0000 UTC]
Not that I can think of. I don't really have many modern games that nearly made it to my list. And I haven't played much of the Batman Arkham games. If it weren't for Super Mario World, Super Mario 64 would've made the list.
