Since you made all those owl masks, you should make a snowy owl next.

Your masks are lovely, if I may be so bold to ask do you use a hot water dip to get the shape, or is it mostly a lot of tooling and stretching? Thanks.

Thank you!
I use hot water, then lots and lots of work by hand...I just sit there with it and mush it around until I get the right shapes, bends, etc.

Wow. You've got a lot of high detailed, lovely work. I'm curious; are any of the shapes inspired by the splicer masks from Bioshock? There seem to be a fair number of similar designs, though yours are far more detailed.

You have a very beautiful gallery. I used to work with a mask maker for a couple of years helping her sell her work and I have to say after working for her it makes me appreciate all of the work that really goes into each of these pieces and you do such a wonderful job on each and every one of them

Wow, your masks are beautiful! They make me think of this one I got in a Rennaissance festival in Colorado last summer. But these have much more of a variety when it comes to animals. (I didn't see many animals in the collection down in Colorado.)
But yeah, beautiful gallery.<3

Hi!!
Nice to see your note here at deviantart! And thank you for the compliment on the owl mask...it has been on my list for ages to do a detailed owl mask, and I finally got to it. And it turned out pretty cool! Sometimes the experiments work out! Hope you are doing well, your masks look great!!
