"Mh.Β π€ I noticed a curious thing after looking at Howard and Harold's personal profiles on Wikia Fandom and the episode Exchance of Heart.Β
According to Harold's profile, he was the cook in the family, in charge of preparing food for his loved ones. But in Exchance of Heart Howard always cooks, he was in fact seen cooking three times in the following two days. So no turns for Harold in the kitchen.
My guess is that we all probably misunderstood their roles in the episodeΒ Attention Deficit. In that episode, we saw Howard serving organic chicken with homemade marinade sauce. But maybe he was only in charge of preparing the table and serving food, not cooking ...... since later it seemed that Harold was cooking, after serving frozen food, but forgetting to heat it upΒ because of tiredness extreme. But after seeing Exchange of Heart, maybe things didn't really go that way. In Attention Deficit, Howard was the real cook and not Harold .... but at the end of the episode, he was too emotionally exhausted to cook, so Harold goes to replace him in the kitchen but, unlike her husband, it's not much able to cook and so he arranged with frozen food. If you think about it, frozen food usually indicates two different but fundamental things: 1) The inability to cook and prepare real food or 2) simply not being able to find time to cook. For the second option, we had thought of this for Harold at the beginning of the show in Deficit Attention. But in reality it is not so. Howard Is the real cook andΒ perhaps also the one who prepared Swiss chard omelette for Clyde, as mentioned in "Roughin it". And Harold probably helped Howard in the kitchen from time to time, but only on special occasions.

I have another bomb news for you: Howard and Harold will return in a new episode called Exchange of Heart, which will be aired on January 25th.

I'mΒ very happy to see the McBrides again, they are among my favorite secondary characters, and this time with a greater role than in previous episodes. "Heart" is likely to mean parental love, not a new student's love for Clyde.
However, we hope that this new student who will replace Clyde is a girl and not a boy.
