# About me
Drawing is my hobby and I get a lot of enjoyment out of it. It is how I relax. I continue to work at it but I have a difficult time drawing my own original work. I have come up with a few things in the last year or so that aren't terrible. However, I typically have to have a picture to go by. Just to give me an idea of how to make it all flow. As I said I have been working on this doing my own original artwork and I am improving, but I honestly enjoy trying to draw things I see. There are some amazing artists out there and on here.It is a challenge and I like to think a show of respect to those individuals who inspire me. I draw things from comics, online galeries, books, magazines, and so on... I typically print out a picture and then place it next to a blank sheet and go from there. So my artwork will look similar to the one that I am working off of. If I remember where I got the idea from I will post in the pic descritption as I feel the artist who inspires me deserves probably most of the credit. I have never had any formal training and probably work completely backwards. As I start from the outside and work my way in. Either way, I enjoy it and it is a lot of fun!
My two boys give me lots of inspiration and I really enjoy when I can draw something they want and/or like. My oldest really enjoys drawing too. It is a very special time for old dad when we can sit down and draw together.

I typically don't draw by request becuase I haven't had much luck in the past with doing that. Plus I need a picture go by to get an idea of what it's supposed to look like. What is the character? Your friend is right. There are some amazing artists on here not including me.
