Don't worry, Undertale isn't as focused on the battle system as Touhou is! Most of your encounters are actually really easy (with one boss's bullets actively avoiding you after a certain length of time), and even when you do run into a difficult fight, you'll figure it out after a while. If you're doing a pacifist/neutral route, you can even skip one fight entirely by buying something from the Spider Bake Sale in the Ruins.
The Neutral and Pacifist final bosses, as well as several characters in the Genocide route, are actually quite difficult. Believe it or not, I've never actually played the infamous Sans fight, but judging from playthroughs, he goes really crazy. o.o

The newly-released Deltarune, on the other hand...is a little harder. From my experience, the bullrts are a bit more densely packed, and you're dodging all this in a rather small playing field with a fairly large hitbox. Also there's a grazing system, but it's there for a reason.

Don't focus on the battles too much, though. Undertale is more story-based than Touhou is, so doing well in the face of 900000000 dots on the screen isn't that important. ^^

lolol ok so i have this habit of naming mc da canon name and without knowing started playing in hard mode... never knew it tho ao i couldnt even beat da first non tutorial monster and was like yo this is another touhou

and then i searched how to beat this hame and then realized i was im hard mode. lol swapped to easy mode and im so pro at it. lol. XD

frisk looks so cute haha and da monsters r so cute too im rlly likimg it so far

and then i accidenly saw that apprenrtly if u go on da g route u will never get the unaltered version of da true p route or something... and i was hoping to get da true p route with my own powers but i aimed too high, oh well i ll just stick with wiki strategies. hope i can make it lol

Yeah, the game really gets on your case if you go genocide, even after you reset. It's not much of a difference, but yes, doing genocide will alter any future pacifist runs. You can only get the true pacifist ending by playing the game twice; unless you're doing genocide, the game defaults to a neutral run on the first playthrough.

im also trying to pass with marisa and i might actually like her more than reimu when i get better. cuz she moves faster and her power is strong like da enemies dies so fast and im like whoa already?!

Papyrus isn't too hard, actually. He's the type who thinks he's the strongest when really he's just like a child =w=

The nice thing aboutMarisa is that in most games, she powers up faster. If you go up to the top of the screen, the powerups will come to you automatically; with Reimu and most others (if playable), this feature only works if your power level is high enough, but with Marisa, she does this right off the bat. I've had times where I reached full power in stage 1 because of this. ^^

Alright! Maybe I'll try TD sometime.
