Thanks man! Yes I do, but i still can't calibrate it correctly to reveal some small details and some very light shades.... could you by chance point me to a tutorial on scanning? Thanks again...

I just use two commands on my images now
I use Gimp (free editing programme, similar to photoshop) and Adjust the colour curve to darken the image. The add 10 points of contrast to make the whites whiter and sharpen slightly.
It's not perfect, but it's quick and makes the image look 10x better

Well...how can i put this nicely... i can't give u the link of my OCs i want you to draw (Cuz posting links on my Wii sucks ass)
So i'll give u the instructions to get to my pic (If u can't find it, i'll give u the link as soon as i get my laptop back)
1. Go to Google.com & search up "Red Rose Academy"
2. Ignore all the crap there and find the the link to "Red Rose Academy Series | Facebook"
3. Once u get there click on "Photos" and click "Profile Pictures"
4.Look 4 the pic with 5 girls in a group with a pink backround and....Voilà!!! The Pic Is There!!

Can you draw the 5 girls in "K-on!" style (like eyes, hands, and OUTFITS like they are in K-ON!! :3 ) and the girls in a cute pose but can u make them into separate drawings??

I agree, color is definitely overrated. (this has nothing to do with the fact that i can't color well)

So these are the following pencils I use for drawing, they are all from the brand Staedtler :
I will use mechanical pencil when shading manga style (white and black basically, the black I colour with mechanical pencil)
HB : For hair
H2 : For skin shading
F : For shading clothes
3B : To add the "metal touch" to the headband protectors

Hmmmm, we use almost the same pencils, but the texture of our shades are quite diff... must be a difference in style...

i never use cottons swabs or whatever to shade, and i always shade in one direction
