Hey there! Thank you so much for your thoughts on mai last journal entry. And I see it got a link in yer journal 
As for cut-wrists and teen angst.... ARGH x_X It's bad enough when my RL friends bombard me with it when they get all PMSy... last thing I need is to log onto DA and be confronted with a whole lotta "I drew my anthro lemur fursona with a slit wrist because she is me and I am hurting coz my boyfriend dumped me for my sister, so here I present you all with my deep and intellectual piktuah".
I can't talk. I draw tit and ass. I couldn't be any less 'intellectual' if I tried... but I think it looks even worse when you try to look deep but jus come off lookin tacky

lol, the slit picture would be a good test, wouldn't it? Wow, sad about the anthro community, not familiar with it myself, but I've seen these kinda things go on in other communities. Yip, nothing much can be done about it. As for the link? I made the link because I've tried to speak my mind about this kinda stuff before, but I just come out sounding like a cranky old bitch
And as for the tit and ass? I dunno, you may think well, that guy draws teen angst but I can't talk because I draw the nudes, or that person draws nudes but I can't talk because all I draw is fanart and it gets down to like, you shouldn't draw unless it has some great point about it. No. I really don't care about WHAT people want to draw as long as it's true to themselves. You wanna draw pictures that will make people stop and think a bit? Ok, sure. You just one of those people who just has fun with their drawings and like to draw random things? Alright, that's great too. I draw all sorts of things that have no real meaning, does that make me bad? Course not. But I draw the line when people lie through their art or create something purely for the sake of getting attention (oh, and of course when peple just outright steal an image, yeah that's sad too). Tisk, tisk. The image of the cut wrist has just been so overused in this way, it just irritates me to see it.
Yeah, thinking about all of this can get a little confusing; if we all look deep enough we'll see that we're hypocrites in some way. Just do what you love and leave it at that, I say.
